BASTU DELSJÖN
The structure features a contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic with two distinct volumes - an upper level clad in vertical cream-colored panels with a subtle vertical rhythm, and a lower level showcasing beautiful natural oak timber with pronounced vertical graining. The cantilevered form extends confidently over the rocky shoreline, creating a powerful dialogue between built form and nature.
The architecture demonstrates a refined material palette that transitions from the lighter, more protected upper volume to the warmer, tactile wood below, perhaps responding to proximity to water and human touch. The vertical timber cladding throughout creates a strong linear language that echoes the surrounding forest while providing textural richness and depth.
