A retreat at the heart of Delsjön in Gothenburg
The structure features a contemporary Scandinavian aesthetic with two distinct volumes, an upper level clad in vertical cream-colored panels with a subtle vertical rhythm, and a lower level showcasing beautiful natural oak timber with pronounced vertical graining. The cantilevered form extends confidently over the rocky shoreline, creating a powerful dialogue between built form and nature.
The architecture demonstrates a refined material palette that transitions from the lighter, more protected upper volume to the warmer, tactile wood below.
